An illegally charged with a sex offence against a child in Massachusetts, a Brazilian woman has been extradited to federal custody, authorities said Monday.
Irma Leandro de Oliveira, 53, was arrested on March 20th in Falmouth, 70 miles south of Boston, by agents with the US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), FBI and alcohol, cigarettes, firearms and explosives (ATF).

“Irma Leandro de Oliveira has been charged with seven different crimes relating to sexual abuse of a child in the Massachusetts community,” said Patricia H. Hyde, acting Boston field office director. “These are crimes we simply don’t tolerate.”
De Oliveira was arrested by US Border Patrol agents after entering the United States near Laredo, Texas on September 20, 2007. She was deported on December 27, 2007, accompanied by a notice and an order of prompt removal.

She illegally re-entered the United States on an unknown date and location, Ice said.
She was arrested on March 18 for child rape, child reckless danger, indecent exposure, indecent assault, battery of children under the age of 14, unnatural behavior with children, worsening legal rape of children, and incest.

De Oliveira was handed over to a former US s service last week and was deported before being charged with illegal entry into the United States.
