Farmers First Agenda aims to deliver healthy foods and lower costs

The new initiative aims to “ensure that rural America is thriving again,” including reducing farmers’ production costs, reducing food costs, and making healthy, natural foods more accessible to Americans.

The American First Policy Institute (AFPI) will introduce the Farmers First Gender by HHS Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and USDA Sec. Brook Rollins is pushing to bring fresh farm food to American homes and schools.

The agenda obtained by Fox News Digital aims to guide federal and state policies in collaboration with the private sector.

Tom told Fox News Digital that AFPI would like to help America with health, so he welcomes the “agricultural renaissance.”

“Farmers across the country have been talking about the Maha movement and they are embracing it,” he said.

“Today, we have many options at the grocery store. There are more options than I’ve ever had since I was a child, but we need to make sure that consumers understand the benefits of putting more lean meat, more dairy products, vegetables and fruits in their diet,” Ambassador Tom said.

Freedom Farms owner Dana Cabarera recently told Fox News Digital that she has seen more people “want to know where their food comes from” as she is making America the healthier again.

“The colours were different, the flavors were different. The flavor profiles were different. And then I said, ‘Well, what have we been eating for years?'” Kabalea said.

“American agriculture is probably the safest food supply in the world, perhaps because of the regulatory process we have,” Ambassador Tom told Fox News Digital.

However, he added, “The regulations we have in this country are extremely burdensome for U.S. consumers and farmers.”

Fifth generation farmers and Jonathan Shell of the Kentucky Agricultural Commission shared similar sentiments.

“Red tape and bad trade transactions now make it difficult to put food in school lunch trays and family dinner tables,” Shell told Fox News Digital.

“We have the land, know-how and heart to feed this country. Farmers and ranchers across America are ready to grow and grow what our community needs: fresh fruits, vegetables and local meat.”

Shell, along with her father Gary, owns and operates Shell Farm and Greenhouse in Garrard County. They raise cows and grow flowers, corn and pumpkins.

He said supporting supply chain modifications and innovation is key to the US returning as a leading supplier of global food, fiber and energy systems.

“We have the largest quality, high quality farmland in the United States. There are nearly 14,000 miles of navigable waterways,” Tom said.
