Marcia Norman, 82, has been reported missing since April 1, and the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said her body was found to be partially wrapped in concrete from a newly built shed in Olympia.
The man, once a pastor at Calvary Chapel in North Thurston, was charged in 2021 with nine counts related to child abuse.
Detectives quickly identified 47-year-old Jeffrey Ziz as the main suspect. Police say Zizz, a convicted child molestator, had dinner with Norman before he went missing.
The handyman has been interviewed by police and seized several personal items as part of their investigation, including his car.
