Democrat Sen. Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to visit illegal foreigners who had been deported, but the grieving mother said she had never been contacted by Maryland lawmakers after illegal immigrants killed their daughter.
Rachel Morin’s mother, Patty Morin, opposed Van Hollen’s visit and gringed Maryland Senators to “defend the criminals” in order to “defend the criminals.”
“It just shows his personality. You know the man not only by the words he speaks, but also by his lack of actions and actions,” Patty Morin said on “Ingraham’s Angle” Friday.
It’s been more than a year since Rachel Morin was murdered, but her mother claimed she had “no interaction” with Van Hollen. She remains on a call from the Maryland Senator.
“I’m graceful and I’ll call, I don’t know that it makes a difference,” Patty Morin said. Fox News Contributor Raymond Arroyo. “If he made an effort to make a call, I think it’s a political stunt to say he did it.”

Van Hollen issued the following statement: Tuesday regarding Rachel Morin’s murderer conviction:
“The conviction of Rachel Morin’s murderer will not return Rachel, who she is justified, to her family, but this verdict brings a measure of justice that they are very deserving. I am grateful for the law enforcement officer who detained her murderer and the legal process to provide this justice. I support our immigrant community and respect the rights of individuals here legally – I am committed to doing both and I will continue to press my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to move forward with this issue.”
Van Hollen His request was ultimately granted on Thursday as he flew to El Salvador this week to meet with the illegal alien kilmer Abrego Garcia who was deported.
“I said my main goal for this trip was to meet up with Kilmer,” Van Hollen said in a previous Twitter X post. “Tonight I had that chance. I called his wife, Jennifer, to share his love message. I look forward to providing a full update on my return.”

Garcia, a 29-year-old illegal immigrant living in Maryland, was deported to the MegaPrison Terrorism Confinement Centre (CECOT) in El Salvador in March.
Officials have confirmed in court that his deportation was an administrative error, but now some Trump officials say he has been correctly removed and claim he is a member of the infamous MS-13 gang.
Both the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Supreme Court have ordered the Trump administration to “promote” his release and return to the United States for a proper deportation lawsuit.
The newly released document from the Trump administration also revealed allegations of domestic violence against Garcia.
On Wednesday, his wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sula, statement Addressing domestic violence allegations:
“After surviving domestic violence in my previous relationship, I acted carefully following my disagreement with Kilmer for a civil protection order in case things escalated. I didn’t track the civil court process as things didn’t escalate.
Patty Morin criticized Van Hollen for “using taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador and defending criminals.”
“As he is a criminal just as he is here illegally, he is already breaking federal law about being in the country illegally,” she continued.
Van Hollen’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. He also refused to answer whether Van Hollen would call Patty Morin or whether he would clarify who funded Senator’s trip to El Salvador.
