Rep. James Comer Denies Taxpayer-Funded Trip for Democrats to See Deported Migrant

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Kommer (R-KY) criticized Democrats for “approving” the committee “approving” the official trip to El Salvador, visiting members of the accused MS-13 gang and deporting illegal foreigners.

With a letter Posted To X, addressed to Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) and Maxwell Alejandro Frost (D-FL), Comer informed them that if they wanted to travel to El Salvador to meet Kilmer Armando Abrego Garcia, who had been deported to their hometown, they could “use” their money.

“It’s ridiculous to have shown positive hostility for over two years towards oversight of the Biden Border Crisis Commission and the consequences of millions of illegal foreigners entering the country, but now we are seeking travel at the committee’s expense to meet foreign gang members,” Comer said in the letter. “You may be happy to know that Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen is enjoying Margaritas yesterday at El Salvador with members of the foreign gang and a reference to your letter and slices of cherry blossoms.”

“If you want to see him too, you can spend your own money,” Comer added. “However, I will not approve one of the taxpayer funds to be used on the field trip you requested.”

Comer’s letter, refusing to pay for a trip to visit Frost and Garcia using taxpayer funds, leads the cause of Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) traveling to El Salvador and Abrego Garcia returning to the United States.

In the photo Posted X filmed Van Hollen’s encounter with Abrego Garcia, portrayed by Democrats and news media as “the father of Maryland with a protected status.”

“I said my main goal for this trip was to meet up with Kilmer,” Van Hollen told his post. “Tonight I had that chance. I called his wife, Jennifer, to share his love message. I look forward to providing a full update on my return.”

Democrats and news media continue to support Abrego Garcia, but White House press chief Caroline Leavitt claims that the Trump administration “has been involved in human trafficking” Abrego Garcia “has been involved in human trafficking.”

“The administration maintains its position as this individual, deported to El Salvador and not returning to our country, is a member of the brutal and vicious MS-13 gang. That’s one fact. I said. “And in fact, number 3, this individual was actually a member of the brutal MS-13 gang and was actually a leader. This is what this president designates as a foreign terrorist organization.”

A press release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed that when Abrego Garcia was arrested, he was “found in cash and drug rolls” and that he was “arrested on two other members of MS-13.”

“When he was arrested, he was wearing a sweatshirt with the role of money covering the president’s region, mouth and eyes in various currencies,” the press release continued. “This is a known MS-13 gang symbol.

“Two judges have discovered he is a member of the MS-13,” the press release added.

The Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration must promote the release of Abrego Garcia, but El Salvador President Naive Buquere responded to a Van Hollen conference with Abrego Garcia, saying “I will be honored to remain custody of El Salvador.”

“Now he has been confirmed to be healthy, so he will receive the honor of staying custody in El Salvador,” Buquere said. I wrote it With X’s post
