During MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” aired Friday, Trump’s border border Tom Homan argued that the current deportation efforts were voted by Americans when they elected President Donald Trump.
Homan told host Joe Scarborough that so-called asylum seekers are overwhelming and abusing the system by playing long games.
“The Americans voted for this,” Homan declared. “Americans voted for Donald Trump. This is the number one problem. The majority of Americans want to remove illegal aliens from this country. And it’s done humanitarianly. But we remember this: violation of the law.
He continued, “They intentionally overwhelm the system. Why? Because they know that it takes five, seven, nine years to have hearing. But now they have children of American citizens. Books containing the alien enemy law are acts created by Congress.
