The head of the largest prison officers’ union has revealed that the prison is being barred from Muslim prisoners from searching with sniffer dogs in the wake of stabbing multiple prison guards suspected by terrorists at Manchester Arena.
Earlier this month, four prison officers from Frankland, a prison under His, were injured by boiling oil and makeshift blades. Hashem Abedi has been found guilty of supporting her brother who bombed Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester.
On Sunday, Mark Fairhurst, national chair of the Association of Prison Officers, alleged that Abedi and other Muslim prisoners in Frankland were exempt from searching for K-9s trained on a prison trustee’s order that alleged contact with the dog was against their faith.
“When it first opened, all the prisoners housed in that unit were searched thoroughly in the unit, when they left the unit, and when they returned to the unit. Sometimes the dogs were used.” I said solar.
“The prisoners accused it of interfering with their religious beliefs. The board of trustees dismissed staff and avoided the dogs searching for those prisoners.”
“We appease these prisoners and appease them and. Why are we engrossed in prisoners, terrorist prisoners whose sole purpose is to kill prison officers?”
This critique was supported by Shadow Justice’s Secretary Robert Jenrik. Robert Jenrik said:
“This allows Muslim gangs to control the wings of prisons across the country. Officers should not be afraid to be labeled racist if they intervened to restore order and control from radical Muslim prisoners.”
According to the paper, an unknown source within the Ministry of Justice denied operational changes in the use of dogs during the search, including the Falklands prison.
However, Attorney General Shabana Mahmoud said in a statement that appears to be an appearance of official denials, the government is trying to “strengthen” the defense of prison officials and the public. She said that “Prison Services will also be conducting a snap review of whether protective body armor should be made available to frontline staff,” in the wake of the stinging attack in Falklands.
Concerns are growing about the UK’s Muslim prison population, despite Muslims making up only about 6% of the country’s population per the latest census.
2022 Report Regarding the growing influence of Muslim gangs in British prisons by anti-terrorism parliamentary reviewer Jonathan Hall KC, such groups found that they were “encouraged” to attack non-Muslim prisoners and prison staff. The report found that “self-style chiefs” had failed to use “enforcers” to control prison areas and fight back against this by authorities for fear of appearing racist.
