We are approaching the 2025 NFL Draft, and the rumors are just picking up steam.
There are only so many hours per day, so head straight to the latest rumours.
Jalen Milroe has won a lofty comparison
Beyond Cam Ward and Chedure Sanders, much of the recent quarterback debate has focused on both Mississippi passersby Jackson Dart and Louisville QB Tyler Schaff.
But thanks to NFL network Tom Pelissero, it’s time to talk about Jalen Milroe again.
The exterior of Good morning soccer On Monday, Pericero broadcast some of the things NFL coaches and scouts were telling him about the Alabama quarterback. And when we hear such a noble comparison, we tend to be careful.
“Not just one, some coaches and scouts told me. I said it on Monday. “Not Lamar Jackson – Jalen Milllow is the best runner they’ve ever seen.”
Milroe ranked second in the FBS with 20 rushing touchdowns and led Alabama in rushing yards during the 2024 campaign. But what about Lamar Jackson? Certainly that’s pretty noble.
Can the team trade up with Ashton Janti?
To Ashton Jeanty Las Vegas Raiders It felt like an easy pairing, but the closer I get to the draft, the more I feel Boise State can land a running back elsewhere.
There was a chat on Monday Jacksonville Jaguar No. 5 could be a landing spot for him. The Raiders have a pick just before the watch. but Pericero pointed out on Monday. That pick allowed Jeanti to leave the board, but that may not necessarily be for Jaguar. A team who wants to choose Jeanti might want to go ahead of the Raiders at No. 6, given all pre-draft discussions about Las Vegas’ selection of Boise’s products. Pelissero was referring to two teams Chicago Bears On number 10 Dallas Cowboys No. 12, he returned to running this spring to a top 30 visit.
As we discussed yesterday, the Bears hope that Jeanti will fall on them at No. 10. But they are trying to push the issue instead and go ahead with the Raiders via trade-ups.
A saint waiting for a QB?
The moment the news broke that Derek Kerr could need shoulder surgery – putting his start to 2025 season in danger – people have begun to link New Orleans Saints With quarterback Chedur Sanders.
That’s me. I am a person.
However, some big names in the NFL media space pour cold water into that theory. One is a draft analyst, the other is a big player in the Saints media space, the third player in the biggest NFL insiders, and the fourth is a longtime local beat writer.
First, run Nick Underhill Neworleans.footballshortly after Carr News, the organization relayed that it was not surprised by the injury.
Derek Kerr and the Saints have been communicating for a while about the quarterback injury situation, I said. There’s no surprise.
– Nick Underhill (@nick_underhill) April 12, 2025
In fact, Underhill believes that the saint will “wait” for the QB to be drafted.
Underhill believes New Orleans’ “sweet spot” to take the quarterback is his second pick.
ESPN Draft analyst Matt Miller reflected Underhill’s thoughts over the weekend:
Then there was an Adam Shifter column on Monday. This was a summary of everything the legendary insider was hearing before the draft. As Shefater wrote, the Saints think of quarterbacks, but perhaps not number 9, and perhaps not Sanders.
“They want to draft quarterbacks. Maybe not Sanders, not number 9. As another HR executive said, “I don’t think New Orleans is taking Chedur. I think they’re hot and heavy on Jackson Dirt.” Shefater wrote.
“When it comes to darts, I’m skeptical about whether the saint will take it. Olemis Passerby No. 9 – I feel it’s high for many people around the league. Dirt would think he’s playing for the Saints’ next pick, whether it’s the second round (No. 40) or a trade-up. ”
If that’s not enough, Tuesday brought this from Jeff Duncan Times-Picayune:
I don’t know who the Saint will choose for No. 9 on Thursday night. But I think I can safely say that it wouldn’t be Chedure Sanders.

Four insiders, all of the same minds.
As for what the Saints do with No. 9, Ryan Ramchik’s retirement may see New Orleans deal with offensive tackles in the spot.
A cowboy who throws a big “curve ball” on the 12th?
In traditional wisdom, the Dallas Cowboys drafted a wide receiver on No. 12 and paired it with Cedeelam. Stephen Jones talks about the organization that found No. 2 to leave Lamb at a league meeting in March, with both Arizona WR Tetaro A MacMillan and Texas WR Matthew Golden linked to the legendary franchise.
There is also some unpleasant interest, as mentioned above.
But can Dallas throw a big “curve ball” on No. 12?
That’s a possibility that it will float by his Albert Breer Huge pre-draft pieces for Sports illustration included. Working together through each team in the first round, discussing potential options and coming to Cowboys while leading in both MacMillan and Golden, he addressed two different positions beyond WR.
First I was a cornerback. There, Michigan CB Will Johnson would fit, Brier said, but his knee issues and his long-speed questions could be seen as he fell.
After that, Bree threw a curveball:
The names of a few people who grew up here as a potential curveball are Glaza Bell from North Dakota. Yes, this would be a little earlier for Zabelle. However, he is considered a safe pick as Duke C. Graham Burton was a year ago, and Burton had a very solid rookie year. Buccaneers. It looks like everyone loves Zabelle and I’m sure he doesn’t make it from the teens so this doesn’t reach much.
This is nothing more than the previous consensus. NFL Mock Draft Database Zabell is It is predicted to leave the board At number 18 Seattle Seahawks.
While Zabell plays left tackle for North Dakota, he is expected to slip inside to guard in the NFL. Can he be the replacement for Zach Martin the team is looking for?
Charger to add Justin Herbert help
Popular picks Los Angeles Chargers No. 22 is Michigan’s defensive tackle Kenneth Grant. Considered as one of the top prospects in that position, Grant will boost the charger’s line of defense.
But is Jim Harbaugh looking at the outlook for another Michigan state at No. 22?
That’s a rumor about Marcus Mosher Team 33 As Moshwar writes, he sees the Chargers drafting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and “buy”.
The Chargers need tight ends desperately to catch passes, and Loveland is perfect for Justin Herbert. The only question is whether he will fall to number 22.
If Loveland is now available with Pick No. 22, it’s hard to see the charger move in a different direction. We know they cherish the trench, and that would probably be the way they go if Loveland isn’t on the board. However, he is very likely to meet a large need and become the best player available when the charger is on the watch.
Don’t be surprised if this pick happens Thursday night due to location value and health-related reasons. And it would be an A+ pick if the charger could pull it apart.
Loveland is an attractive player, and as Mosher points out, this will be a selection of home runs for Los Angeles.
Concerns about Derrick Harmon’s injury?
We recently talked about a lot about Oregon’s defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. Yesterday, Harmon speculated that he might want to start pricing his Pittsburgh real estate.
But then the words about “medical information” that he could slide a bit broke. Both Benjamin Allbright Koa and Brian Broaddus 105.3 Fan We talked about Harmon, who has some medical concerns:
I don’t think I’ll become Harmon. There are some medical care there.
– Benjamin Allbright (@allbrightnfl) April 18, 2025
We don’t know if there’s smoke in this particular fire yet, but maybe that’s why when Harmon passes Pittsburgh at the surprising 21st.
