Minnesota workers under Tim Waltz administration were given Slap your wrist The sheriff is mad about it by a liberal district attorney after he was accused of causing more than $20,000 in damage to a Tesla vehicle.
Dylan Brian Adams was caught in security video keying six Tesla vehicles while walking his dog near the parking lot of a Target retailer in Minnesota. Minneapolis police recommended felony charges for the massive amount of damage, but the liberal district attorney declined.
“The extremists on the far left of Minnesota seem to actually hope that these criminals continue their dangerous temper. It’s ridiculous.’
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara expressed disappointment that Adams had not been criminally charged and was granted the option to participate in the diversion program. Adams works for the Minnesota Department of Human Services for the Democratic government of Tim Waltz.
“The complaints relating to the Hennepin County Attorney’s request decision should be directed exclusively to her office,” O’Hara said. “Our investigators are always frustrated when cases they put their hearts down. In my experience, the victims of these cases often feel the same.”
O’Hara laughed at the suspect’s stupidity in light of the Tesla vehicle’s advanced video surveillance system.
“Frankly, this is pretty stupid. All of these cars have high quality videos. It’s putting the spotlight on you and committing crimes,” O’Hara said at the time.
“Downtown, certainly, there are many cameras and the city has cameras in many neighborhoods in the city,” he added. “And when there’s a problem in the area, we often use video to deploy mobile trailers. These cases have high quality video, especially from the vehicle itself.”
A spokesman for the Hennepin County Lawyer’s Office defended the decision.
“This is an approach taken in many property crime cases, which can help ensure that individuals are able to maintain their jobs and pay compensation, reducing the likelihood of repeated crimes,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “If misconduct continues, criminal prosecution remains possible.”
Many people were furious at the charges and accused the district attorney of playing a suspect and favorite as he works in the state.
“Mary Moriarty has outrageously decided not to accuse Teslas of Minneapolis to Teslas of Tim Waltz employees of committing felony-level vandalism on camera.” I said US majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.). “It seems like extremists on the far left of Minnesota actually want these criminals to continue their tantrums of a dangerous nature. It’s ridiculous.”
“Remember that Tim Waltz is rooted in American workers in hoping for Tesla to fall. Now, one of his employees has tried to destroy Tesla and caused $20,000 worth of damage. Will Waltz blame this attack?” I asked Kendall Quall, a former candidate for governor.
