State champion diver, two other classmates dead after spring break crash

Three senior Massachusetts high school seniors were killed and one was seriously injured Monday in a spring break car accident near a popular tourist destination in Florida.

Jimmy McIntosh and Hannah Wasserman, seniors at Concord Carlisle High School, passed away Monday night after an SUV crashed into a tractor trailer in Panama City Beach, Florida. According to Boston25. Maisey O’Donnell, a third student, is also a senior and state champion diver, who died of an injury that fell on Tuesday, crash.

The fourth student is in danger.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash took place at Highway 98 in Inlet Beach, in some Walton County. Four students were in the SUV when they crashed into a tractor trailer that was running a U-turn at 9:28pm

According to the FHP, which is under investigation, two people in the tractor trailer were not injured.

“We are extremely grateful for the pouring of love between the things that are absolutely heartbreaking,” Concord Carlisle Regional School District Principal Laurie Hunter said in a statement. “We are also grateful for our desire to aim not to be helpless. We are all devastated beyond what we can understand today, and we know that the difficult days ahead are things that we will face together.

“Mizee is taking part in the organ donation program because she hopes to give meaning to these meaningless tragedies.”

O’Donnell was a two-time state championship diver with plans to attend Williams College in Massachusetts next fall.

“We are very excited to announce our verbal commitment to the admissions process at Williams College!” she said in an Instagram post in September. “Thank you to my family, friends and coaches for getting to this point.”

According to the Diving recruitment profile, O’Donnell won the MVP, 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Region, 1st Team All Region, 1st Team All County and 1st Team All Conference in 2023.

The Florida Highway Patrol expressed sadness in a statement provided to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.
