Democrats visited Mahmoud Khalil and Lumeisa Ozturk. This is two university students facing deportation as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on anti-Semitism on university campuses.

Rümeysaöztürk is an F-1 student visa and a 30-year-old Tufts University student and Turkish citizen in the United States. She was detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) for supporting the terrorist organisation Hamas and writing an opinion piece calling on the university to “accept the Palestinian massacre.”
