Joy Behar told her co-host on ABC’s “The View” on Wednesday. He said the plan to provide financial support to President Donald Trump’s new mother is to increase the number of “white children.”

Sunny Hostin: Looking at this issue, these suggestions, I want to know why, and I want to know who is making it, so I want to restructure this issue a bit. And when I looked into it, they say that the US fertility rate is falling, but in 2024 there was a 1% increase in US births, but that increase was in Hispanic and Asian mothers. ah! So it seems they are not worried about the increase. They seem more concerned about the decline in other populations.
Behar: Tell me.
Hostin: No, I think I said enough.
Alyssa Farah Griffin: But what is it based on?
Behar: White kids, I say that.
Hostin: Well, it’s based on research. Another one –
Griffin: Have they ever said that anywhere? I feel like it’s fair.
BEHAR: Who is it fair to?
Griffin: Have they ever said this is just targeting white families?
Hostin: Ah, I didn’t say that. You need to read the statistics.
Behar: It’s between the lines. They’re not going to say that.
Hostin: I just did statistics. I’m just stating the facts.
