As everyone knows, the world of sports journalism is so on the left that it appears to have not existed as it is rarely mentioned about legendary brands like the “Redskins” and “Indians.” But President Donald Trump absolutely loves a name that honors our Native American history.
The president spoke about the topic when asked about the potential to regain the Washington Redskins brand linked to the contract for the new stadium in Washington, D.C. (Related: NFL legend Jay Ferry officially announces Run for the US Congress)
Opinion survey from Washington Post In 2016, Trump backed up as 90% of Native Americans revealed they didn’t care about the Redskins’ name.
“The Indian population is a huge heritage for most of this country,” Trump said. “I think it’s degraded to the Indian population,” he added about the name change.
