A lawyer who loves S&M who dodged a sexual assault rap 10 years ago was slapped on a new charge of illness on Thursday, claiming he raped and tortured half a dozen women on a Manhattan pad, prosecutors said.
Ryan Henhill, 43, was found to have assaulted her girlfriend with knife points during an over-the-top romp in 2015, allegedly used cow products, shock collars and waterboarding to suppress new victims during a “multi-hour ruling.” According to 116 counts of indictment.
“He swung his law degree and money around as both a sword and a shield, forcing and silenced the survivors,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told reporters. “The defendant told these survivors he was out of control. The charges made it clear that he was wrong.”
Prosecutors claimed Henhill had NYPD and said he organized criminal bonds to get women to submit, hired prostitutes for the runaway illness, and later made them stiff or paid with fake money.
“The defendant caused great suffering and trauma to these six women, raped them repeatedly and tortured them for hours solely because they enjoyed their pain and fear,” Manhattan assistant district attorney Mira Kerzur told Judge Anne Scherzer.
“And he threatened them and made them intimate so they never move forward,” Curzur said.
Prosecutors said Henhill forced the woman herself to agree to the illness abuse on videotapes, maintaining a record of the encounter and “maintaining them as a trophy.”
Prosecutors said Henhill also threatened the victim by claiming he had a mob connection with the police.
“You’re a prostitute,” he said to have written a letter to one woman on December 22nd.
In another text sent on November 30th, he warned another woman:
“If you’re not here, I’m going to release you federal hell,” the text said. “You hope you’re dead f.”
Henhill, the son of a well-known neurologist, admitted at his 2015 trial that he liked rough sex and often played an ill S&M fantasy with Hooker and other women.
Former Bo Christina Leos, who met his lawyer at Ehalmony, claimed that the pair had a hard time having sex, but when he placed a 10-inch Bowie knife in his throat during a terrifying encounter inside a Murray Hill apartment in 2013, he claimed that Henhill had gone too far.
“I thought I was going to die,” she told the ju judge.
However, the panel deliberated only a day and a half before realising that Henhill was not innocent of all the charges.
“This was an overcharged case to begin with, and there was little or no evidence at the District Attorney’s Office,” Hemhill said after being acquitted. “It wouldn’t have made it to him far.”
However, Manhattan prosecutors had allegedly suspected Henhill’s fetish.
After an investigation by the DAS office, he was arrested on March 1, with officers finding large-capacity ammunition, surveillance cameras, videos of dozens of women, and stashes of drugs such as heroin, cocaine, amphetamines and fentanyl.
Sealed Thursday arrests say Henhill is currently being charged with predatory sexual assault and numerous other charges, with prosecutors claiming it is simply the “tip of the iceberg.”
There could be dozens of other victims (if not hundreds), if not hundreds), they said.
“The details in this case go beyond getting in the way. It’s a lasting, calculated campaign of violence and cruelty targeting vulnerable women,” NYPD commissioner Jessica Tish said in a statement.
“This kind of predatory abuse encounters the full power of the law, with no place in our city.”
Henhill was held without bail without pending appearances in the Return Court.
