Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Thursday that MSNBC’s “Chris Yensing will report.”
“The Supreme Court has said that the administration must promote the return of Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador. That’s not happening,” Yance said.
Schumer said, “Look, the case went back to the Supreme Court and sent it to a judge in the lower court. But if the President doesn’t follow the orders of the Supreme Court, it requires extraordinary action. In the way the President does it, you’re doing it again. You don’t have evidence, if you don’t present evidence against them, the country, the democracy is at risk.”
He said, “If the Supreme Court decides to take the final decision and Trump decides to reject it, it will certainly be resisting us, not just the political leaders. I think that will happen.”
