Comedian Bill Maher launched a screed against President Trump, accusing him of “flapping with authoritarianism” several weeks after a friendly dinner with his longtime foe.
Citing a sincere dinner with Trump at the end of March, Maher returned to his worn-out criticism of the president “full of fascism.”
“Trump is the only president when he feels relieved when he doesn’t keep his campaign promises,” Maher excluded on his eponymous “real-time with Bill Maher” show.
Maher joked about Trump’s quip that he was not a dictator “except on the first day” and about his plot regarding serving in a third term as president, despite the 22nd amendment forbidden him from running again.
“It’s a matter of dictators’ jokes. They’re not kidding, and flirting with authoritarianism doesn’t flirt,” emphasized Marher.
“I’m telling you, humans can’t trust them to just cheat with other attractive humans. The Maga crowd can’t trust them to cheat with a dictatorship,” he insisted. “It’s not that there are none of everyone who cheats, but all cheating starts with flirting.”
Maher was a solid critic of Trump throughout his first term, but has since invaded conservatives and libertarians against his crusades.
Earlier this year, rock star Kidlock encouraged them to meet, and both men agreed. During the dinner, Maher publicly admitted, “All I don’t like about him, I swear to God, I am absent.”
Maher argued that his honest assessment of Trump should give credibility with conservatives to highlight the president’s flaws.
“I took some s-ts from the Rooney who was left to report on how the president reacted privately when I criticized him on his face,” Maher claimed.
“I was honest about it, and it stands as if to tell me conservatives. “What I mean is that it’s your turn.”
