The Jets began signing undrafted free agents shortly after the NFL draft was over on Saturday.
They have already signed some interesting names. After not drafting a quarterback, the team signed Missouri quarterback Brady Cook.
A teammate of first-round pick Armand Membou, Cook started 39 games in four years with the Tigers.
He completed 62.6% of his passes last season for 2,535 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He ran for another 223 yards and five touchdowns. He was the three-time team captain.
The Jets also signed Notre Dame Safety Jordan Clark, the son of former NFL safe and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark.
They also added Michigan to run through Donovan Edwards. Edwards had a strong sophomore season in 2022, rushing for 991 yards and seven touchdowns, but he retreated as a junior (497 yards, 5 TD) and a senior (589 yards, 4 TD).
