American Airlines passenger restrained, knocked down on New York-bound flight

The surprising footage shows American Airlines passengers being suppressed by airline staff after they attempted to raid the aircraft's cockpit.

The incident occurred on American Airlines flight 950 from Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 24th to New York City.

The video shows a woman standing outside the pilot's cockpit being held in custody. In a violent moment, she was knocked to the floor.

“The safety and security of our customers and team members is our number one priority and we appreciate our customers' understanding,” American Airlines said in a statement in Fox News Digital.

The airline added that the plane was “filled by law enforcement,” leaving again at 12:55am.
