The Virginia female sheriff's bragging about her job in supporting women appears to have released an illegal alien accused of strangled the woman on the streets despite immigrant detainees against him.
On all accounts, 34-year-old Guatemalan national Wilmer Ramos Guillon is a dangerous individual. Despite his previous deportation, he not only repeatedly illegally re-entered the United States, but he actually has a history of federal and local arms violations.
In April 2012, Ramos Gillon was deported after being arrested for swinging a firearm in Chantilly, Virginia. press release From the ice. He then returned to the US at one point to steal and was arrested by ICE in April 2019 on a federal warrant for an alien carrying a firearm outside an adult prison in Fairfax County.
Ramos Guillon was convicted and sentenced to nine months in federal prison. His sentence expired in January 2020, when Ice sent him back to Guatemala again.
“The victim was afraid of her safety and the safety of her children when she heard Ramos Guillon return to the streets soon.”
Ramos Guillon must have once again illegally entered the United States after being arrested by Fairfax County police after being said to have brutally attacked a woman on January 27th this year. He was initially charged with felony abduction by force, assault on a family member, and strangulation of a felony causing injury.
Despite the surprising accusations against him, Fairfax County Federal lawyer Steve Descano has made a plea deal with Ramos Guillon, who dropped all felony charges against him. In exchange, Ramos Guilon pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of swinging a machete/blade; kfox It was reported citing court documents.
He spent just two months behind the bar before being released again. Descano previously told Kfox that the victim agreed to the deal because he didn't want Ramos-Giron to not convict a felony, but Kfox denies the victim in two separate interviews with Descano's outlets, claiming instead that Ramos-Giron wanted to be locked up for years.
Things to note Alien carrying a firearm Ramos Guillon has already been found guilty of a felony because it is a felony.
“The victim was afraid of her safety and the safety of her children when she heard Ramos Guillon return to the streets soon,” Kfox said. “The victim has two young children.”
Descano's office did not respond to questions from KFOX regarding whether the victim's wishes were misrepresented during court proceedings.
Either way, Ice had already issued yet another immigrant detention person against Ramos Gillon at the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office the same day he was arrested in January. However, the Sheriff Stacey Ann Kincaid office appears to have clearly ignored the detainee, with more than 1,100 times over the past two years.
Fairfax County brought Ramos Guillon back on the streets, but he wasn't there for a long time. On April 24, Ice Washington and Virginia Police officers arrested him in Chantilly and placed him in ice custody.
“Wilmer Ramos Guillon represents a major threat to Virginia residents,” said Russell Hot, director of the Washington, DC Ice Enforcement and Removal Operations Field Office.
“Sheriff Stacey Anne Kincaid was the first woman in her 281-year history to lead the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office.”
To her, Sheriff Kincaid appears to be pride in thwarting the efforts of immigration officials. She shrugged the detainees, letter Last July, they were merely “unofficial demands” and that she had no obligation to respect without a judicial warrant.
“Ice knows that one of these offenders should want to be detained. All they need is a judicial warrant to be arrested,” her letter explained. “Every time an undocumented immigrant acquires custody of us, ICE is notified. But many times, they make no effort to secure a warrant that gives us jurisdiction to detain.”
In the case of Ramos Guillon, this policy apparently caused Virginia women to fear their children's lives as illegally violent and repeated offenders in the United States. Nevertheless, Kincaid Sheriff's Bio The office website promotes the praise she received to serve women in her community.
“Sheriff Stacey Anne Kincaid was the first woman in her 281-year history to lead the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office,” Bio opens.
In 2014, she was awarded the Virginia Influential Women's Award from Weekly Lawyer. Three years later, she received the Woman of Vision Award from the Northern Virginia Junior League for “developing women's possibilities” for other reasons.
