FBI Director Kash Patel of Indian descent Visits Nightclubs More Often Than His Office: Frank Figliuzzi

A former senior official has alleged that Kash Patel, the acting FBI Director, spends more time in nightclubs than attending to his official responsibilities. Frank Figliuzzi, who previously served as the FBI’s anti-intelligence chief, remarked on MSNBC that Patel seems to frequent nightclubs far more often than he appears at the Hoover building.

Figliuzzi, who has over 25 years of experience at the FBI, noted that Patel stopped receiving daily briefings and has transitioned to receiving them twice a week instead. He characterized Patel’s situation as a mix of “blessings and curses,” explaining that a lack of experience could lead to negative outcomes.

According to various reports, Patel splits his time between Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas. Figliuzzi mentioned that the atmosphere within the FBI is unclear, as internal sources indicate that staff are confused about daily operations.

Recently, Patel was removed from his role overseeing the agency responsible for enforcing U.S. gun laws. This change was prompted by concerns over his conduct, which led Democratic senators to call for an investigation into potential misuse of FBI resources, especially regarding the use of government aircraft for personal travel.

As reported by CBS News, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is contemplating a review of Patel’s travel expenses to ascertain if any personal travel costs were improperly charged to taxpayers.

Moreover, Patel is facing scrutiny over his directive on polygraph testing within the FBI. According to reports from the Washington Post, these tests aim to identify agents suspected of leaking sensitive information to the media. An FBI spokesperson indicated that the serious nature of the leak necessitated polygraph tests due to potential risks to security protocols.
