Media Promoting False Polls to Influence Congress

During Friday’s episode of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Trafalgar Group voter Robert Cahaly suggested the idea of a “fake poll” intended to pressure Congressional Republicans to distance themselves from President Donald Trump’s agenda.

“It was interesting to hear Robert react in the focus group with Van Jones. People aren’t regretting their votes for Donald Trump. If another election were held, they believe Trump could still dominate against Kamala Harris or possibly other Democrats,” Cahaly noted.

“That’s precisely their strategy,” he continued. “They understand that the political environment in Washington is complex, and by portraying Trump as more toxic, they hope to undermine his agenda. However, members of Congress are savvy; they can differentiate between real and fake polls. They’ve witnessed this firsthand. If prognosticators have been providing insights over the last three years, their advice is often dismissed. When it comes to the regular political season, much of it is disregarded. There’s a distinction between hard and soft data, and soft data is often unreliable.”

He added, “The economic narrative is in serious trouble, yet I think voters still stand by their choice of Trump. The focus group with Van Jones revealed that sentiment. There’s ongoing pressure that other presidents typically face, but it’s noteworthy that Trump remains more resilient than most counterparts.”
