Olivia Culpo and her sister haven’t been communicating lately.
Aurora Culpo shared on Monday that Olivia and Sofia Culpo have been at odds for weeks, primarily over Olivia’s baby shower plans.
“Olivia was planning a significant baby shower in Rhode Island while also doing a smaller celebration in Denver that coincided with my birthday weekend,” she explained, mentioning that their mother told her not to worry about attending.
Aurora revealed this during an episode of her “Casual Chaos” podcast.
The tension seems to stem from the fact that both Aurora and Sofia were unable to attend Olivia’s celebrations. Olivia, who is 32, remarked, “I realize it’s quite a trek. It’s a flight, and the event is small. Don’t stress about coming to this little thing.”
Aurora, aged 36, actually missed the event, citing that she felt “very dead.” Olivia later expressed her frustration, saying she felt neglected by her sisters and emphasized that she has always been the one to support them.
After this incident, it appears Olivia felt quite upset, stating, “I lost it. You’re the worst sisters. The bar is really low. I do everything for you, yet you won’t do anything for me.”
Aurora contested this, saying, “That’s not true at all. She tends to complicate matters by believing she’s the one who does everything.” She mentioned that she kept sending Olivia messages indicating that she didn’t need to attend the events.
While Aurora and Olivia have managed to mend their relationship, Sofia hasn’t spoken to Olivia in about three weeks. Still, Aurora believes Sofia is going to work through this situation, especially with a baby on the way, indicating that she may need all the support she can get.
Neither Olivia nor Sofia’s representative has commented on the situation as of yet. Olivia is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child with her husband, Christian McCaffrey. She shared the news of her pregnancy on Instagram back in March, embracing the next chapter of motherhood.
This announcement came just nine months after the couple tied the knot in Rhode Island. Sofia posted about Olivia’s maternity shoot, expressing her excitement through enthusiastic comments.
