President Donald Trump dropped hints about an imminent “very big announcement” as he prepares for a trip to the Middle East.
His upcoming itinerary includes visits to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
“We have something very big coming up, but I can’t share the details just yet. It’s extremely positive,” he stated. “This announcement will happen either Thursday, Friday, or Monday before we depart. It’s among the most significant announcements in relation to a particular topic over the years. It’s a critical subject, so it’s great to have you all here.”
Trump then turned to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, inviting him to speak briefly.
“I’m on the edge of my seat,” Carney remarked. Just as Trump was about to express gratitude for Carney’s “hospitality” and “leadership,” Carney shouted out to the media.
