New wrestlers added to the Real American Freestyle team.

Real American Freestyle has just announced its lineup featuring a highly regarded Superstar champion wrestler, revealing this exciting news at its inaugural event scheduled for a few months from now.

David Kerr, Kyle Dake, Trent Hidlay, Kyle Snyder, and Aaron Brooks are all set to take part in a new scripted wrestling series. These five wrestlers are joining the league through Soccer Punch Entertainment, a sports management firm known for its focus on combat sports.

“David, Kyle, Aaron, Trent, and Kyle are truly exceptional athletes, and we’re bringing together the best of real American freestyle,” said Pro Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, who serves as commissioner for Real American Freestyle. “Our aim is to provide these athletes with a platform that not only allows them to further their careers but also helps them build a lasting legacy.”

Kerr is notable for being a two-time national champion from Iowa and a world champion in the under-20 category. Dake has earned bronze medals at both the Tokyo and Paris Olympics and is a four-time national champion at Cornell University. Brooks has also made his mark as a four-time national champion in Pennsylvania and won bronze at the recent Paris Games. Hidlay has yet to secure a national championship at NC State, although he has claimed the ACC title four times.

Snyder, often referred to as “Captain America,” made history as the youngest athlete to clinch the World, NCAA, and Olympic Championships within the same year. Remarkably, he was the first Olympic gold medalist to return to college and had the unique experience of serving on the Presidential Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition during Donald Trump’s presidency.

When Real American Freestyle was launched, Zahid Valencia’s Kennedy Blade and Ben Askren were among the first wrestlers introduced as participants.

In a recent conversation, Hogan and Eric Bischoff emphasized their mission to elevate freestyle wrestling to mainstream popularity. “It’s a completely underserved sport,” Hogan explained. “There hasn’t been a professional league that allows amateur wrestlers to grow and advance like in other sports. It’s really an untapped market, and I’ve got a bit of background in amateur wrestling myself.”

The first match is set for August 30th, and it promises to be an intriguing event.
