Is Kelly Bensimon Back on the Dating Scene?
Recently, there have been sightings of Kelly Bensimon, the former “Real Housewives” star, out on a date with an unidentified man, nearly a year after she called off her wedding to Scott Litner.
The evening rolled out with Bensimon arriving at a beef restaurant in New York City around 7 PM. Just ten minutes later, her date showed up, and the two exchanged warm embraces and kisses.
Before making their way inside, her date was seen admiring her outfit. They seemed to settle in for a lengthy meal that lasted about three hours. It appeared they were celebrating Bensimon’s 57th birthday, which occurred on May 1st.
As they left the restaurant, they were seen holding hands, and her date even leaned in for a kiss on her cheek.
At one point when she tried to hail a taxi, Bensimon ended up posing for the nearby photographers, seemingly unbothered by their presence. They eventually opted for an Uber instead, with Bensimon flashing a peace sign as they drove away.
For the outing, Bensimon donned a dazzling sequin mini skirt paired with a t-shirt jacket underneath and strappy heels. Her companion opted for dark jeans, a white button-up, a blue blazer, and black dress shoes.
While Page 6 reached out to Bensimon’s representatives for comments, there was no immediate response.
This date night comes just about a year after it was reported that she called off her wedding to Litner. Bensimon and Litner got engaged during a trip to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, close to her childhood home.
Bensimon later mentioned that her decision to cancel the wedding stemmed from disagreements over a pre-nuptial agreement that Litner wasn’t willing to sign.
She shared her perspective, stating, “He thought that if he joined this union without legal protection, he would leave everything to his faith.” Bensimon continued, emphasizing, “But as a single mother, I’ve been working really hard and always making wise decisions for myself and my family. That’s going to continue.”
After ending the engagement, Bensimon indicated that she had begun further personal development, including treatment.
