F-15s accompany Air Force One before Trump’s arrival in Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump touched down in Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and it seemed that Saudi fighters were on hand to escort Air Force One.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino took to X to share a video showing F-15 jets accompanying the president’s plane, saying, “The Air Force is trying to lower the wheels in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Saudi F-15 fighter jets brought us. Thank you on behalf of President Trump!”

There were two jets on the left and three on the right of Air Force One.

After being greeted by the Crown Prince on a purple carpet, Trump arrived at King Khalid International Airport. Shortly after their initial greeting, the two leaders participated in a coffee ceremony.

The president was joined by several key officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses, Secretary of Commerce Howard Rutnik, and Secretary of Energy Chris Wright.

Trump reached the Royal Court in Riyadh around 5:30 AM ET, where he was welcomed at a ceremonial event that included interactions between Saudi officials and US guests. He is anticipated to have lunch and hold meetings over the next three hours.
