Waymo Issues Recall for Over 1,200 Self-Driving Cars

Waymo, Alphabet’s self-driving technology division, has announced a recall of 1,212 vehicles. This action was prompted by incidents where some cars collided with road barriers. The problem stemmed from issues in how these vehicles detected or responded to various objects on the road.

The company indicated that affected vehicles have already been addressed with software updates, as detailed in a report submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
