Rahm Emanuel hints at a possible run for president: ‘I am preparing’

Rahm Emanuel teases potential presidential bid: 'I am in training'

Rahm Emmanuel, former White House Chief of Staff and Democratic figure, hinted on Wednesday about the president’s possibility of joining ABC’s “The View.”

During his segment on the show, Emmanuel touched on various issues, including President Trump’s term and the Democratic Party’s prospects in upcoming elections.

“Everyone in this room is eager for one thing: to see kids given the opportunity to excel,” Emmanuel remarked. “However, the reality is, Washington is failing them. That’s just not right.”

Following his remarks, some attendees expressed that Emmanuel had distanced himself from the “president.”

In reply, Emmanuel noted he was currently “in training,” adding, “I’m not sure if I’ll qualify for the Olympics.”

He also recounted an experience from a state visit to Saudi Arabia with former President Obama, where he rejected a bribe from the Saudi government.

“On my initial trip to Saudi Arabia with President Obama, we were at the King’s Ranch for his horses,” he shared. “The condition of those horses was far superior to that of American Section 8 housing. I came across a briefcase containing a diamond necklace, earrings, and a bracelet.”

Emmanuel’s statements surfaced amid discussions regarding Trump’s acceptance of a jet from Qatar.

“The White House appears to have a sales sign on the front lawn,” he remarked about the recent acceptance.
