A chaotic scene unfolded on a busy Texas highway, as a blue sedan was seen careening out of control while being towed. Donte Brown, 32, appeared visibly distressed in his vehicle, which was being pulled by a white SUV driven by his laughing girlfriend.
Witness David Chairs captured the moment, expressing surprise at the reckless driving. “I mean, it seemed like something out of ‘Fast & Furious,'” he remarked, noting how dangerous the situation was.
It later came to light that Brown and his girlfriend devised this risky plan because they couldn’t afford a tow truck. Unfortunately, this led to their sedan’s axle breaking, leaving it swaying unevenly as it was towed.
Witnesses described how, when the car finally came to a halt, Brown was visibly frustrated. Ken Collins recounted, “I thought they were about to get into a fight. He was furious, yelling at her and banging on the hood of his car.” It seemed like there was a heated argument, with Brown insisting, “You ruined my car!”
Interestingly, Brown was taken into custody due to an outstanding warrant from Georgia, although police did not release any further comments regarding the matter.
