Only a ‘Rude Jerk’ Attacks U.S. President Abroad

On Friday, former President Donald Trump took aim at Bruce Springsteen, calling him “very overrated” and suggesting he should keep his opinions to himself while in other countries.

“It seems that the overrated Bruce Springsteen likes to go abroad to criticize the US president. Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of his music or his radical left views. And frankly, he’s not particularly talented,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“If I hadn’t been elected, things would have been drastically different! ‘Sleepy Joe’ doesn’t know what he’s doing, but Springsteen? Well, he seems pretty clueless himself. This guy, with his dry, pruned skin, needs to zip it until he’s back home. It’s just the usual routine we expect from him. We’ll see how it all pans out for him!”

Meanwhile, a video surfaced of Springsteen criticizing Trump during his “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour in Manchester, England. The E Street Band frontman described the administration as “corrupt, incompetent, and offensive.”

“In my beloved America—a nation that stood as a beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years—this country is now in the hands of corrupt and incompetent people,” Springsteen declared. “Tonight, let’s unite against authoritarianism and sing for freedom!”

Springsteen, known for his support of Joe Biden during the 2024 presidential election, has often framed Trump as a leader managing a “rigged government.”
