PGA Championship Facing Issues Due to… Reptile Invasion?

The 2025 PGA Championship Brings Surprising Twists

After the Masters, excitement is buzzing around the next big event in golf—the PGA Championship. Taking place at the Cool Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, the tournament has already set the stage for some interesting moments. Currently, Jonattan Vegas is leading with a score of -8, holding a two-stroke advantage as the tournament continues. If he maintains this lead, it would mark his first victory at a PGA Championship.

But here’s where things get a bit wild.

During the second round, Ryan Gerard faced a bit of misfortune on the 14th hole. As he tried to get his ball onto the green, it instead rolled straight into a sand trap. To everyone’s surprise, a turtle was spotted lounging right there in the sand. It definitely added an unexpected twist to the game.

In an even more amusing turn, play was temporarily halted while ground crew members had to remove the turtle from the sand trap. Who would’ve thought nature would disrupt a major golf event?

Meanwhile, Shaun Carl Missil had his own close encounter on the course when a large snake unexpectedly slithered across the fairway. Though he seemed a bit unnerved, thankfully, some volunteers quickly sprang into action to manage the situation.

With all these unexpected reptilian interruptions, one can only wonder what else might happen as the championship continues.
