Why it’s important to shame Joe Biden

Interview Exposes Biden’s Cognitive Struggles

Recent excerpts from an October 2023 interview with Robert Huar, a federal prosecutor who investigated President Biden over confidential documents, reveal concerning details about his mental state. Reports indicate that Biden displayed significant cognitive decline, even struggling to recall fundamental facts, such as the date of the last presidential election.

In a notable moment, Biden mistakenly stated that Donald Trump won the election in November 2017 instead of 2016, which, it seems, was not just a slip of the tongue as aides had to correct him.

The content of the interview showcases a disturbing reality. Biden’s voice sounded weak and often quiet, and he frequently lost track of his thoughts. He exhibited an emotional response when recalling his late son Beau, showing uncertainty even about the timing of Beau’s death. There were also moments where Biden seemed unsure about his tenure as vice president, jumping erratically from discussing his time in the Senate to running for president.

The investigation regarding the classified documents appears to have resulted in little consequence, similar to previous cases involving other political figures. However, it was through this process that Huar uncovered larger issues regarding Biden’s mental health and the lengths to which his team has gone to shield him from scrutiny since prior to the 2020 election.

Biden has tended to rely on teleprompters for public speeches, and his press interactions have often been tightly controlled. His unscripted appearances, which are rare, usually happen only when he is moving between locations, and even then, they are brief encounters with reporters.

Notably, Huar’s interview could be one of the few instances where Biden faced extensive questioning without a script or support. This situation likely explains why Biden and his advisors have striven to avoid similar circumstances.

Previously, Huar described Biden as “a sympathetic and well-meaning older man with a bad memory.” The recordings might challenge this gentle description, presenting a more grave image of a leader with serious cognitive impairments. There’s a troubling thought — he has access to sensitive information, including nuclear codes.

Huar conducted the interview in 2023, and if things had gone differently, Biden could have remained in office until January 2029. This raises questions about his capability to serve adequately in the coming years.

Upon the release of Huar’s report in February 2024, mainstream media appeared to downplay its significance, focusing instead on criticizing Huar’s motivations.

…The media plays a significant role here, but it’s ultimately Biden and those close to him, including his wife Jill and son Hunter, who continue to advocate for his capacity to lead even as he ages. Their motivations are complex — Jill’s drive for influence is striking, while Hunter’s lifestyle choices add another layer.

Yet, it’s clear that Biden and his inner circle are aware of the truth regarding his decline. Their efforts to obscure it hint at a deeper issue.

Imagine if Biden emerged victorious in an election, navigating through challenges alongside Trump. If media narratives portrayed signs of decline as mere conspiracy, we might face a significant constitutional crisis. Replacing a sitting president is no simple task, and Biden’s determination to maintain power raises serious concerns.

Huar’s revelations represent a brave truth-telling in a complex landscape, challenging the narrative that Biden can effectively lead at this time. The implications of his health and cognitive state cannot be ignored and should be a central discussion in upcoming political dialogues.

As difficult as it may be, the American public deserves to remember the realities of leadership and the responsibilities that come with it.
