Joe Rogan challenges the Big Bang theory and claims that Jesus ‘makes more sense’

Joe Rogan Discusses Universe’s Origins on Podcast

In a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Joe Rogan shared thoughts on the origins of the universe, suggesting that Christian explanations might be more logical than the “Big Bang” theory. This was discussed in a conversation with Cody Tucker, who serves as the host.

Logan posed a thought-provoking question: “If there wasn’t something at once, wouldn’t that be strange?” He went on to elaborate that the chaos of nothingness suddenly turning into everything seems more bizarre than a structured creation.

He referenced a quote from the late Terence McKenna, an ethnobotanist, highlighting that science and religion share common ground in their reliance on a singular miracle—the Big Bang. “It’s a powerful line because it holds a lot of truth,” he remarked. Although he acknowledged the significance of Christ’s resurrection, he mused about the universe’s scope and queried whether those religious stories are truly understood amid its vastness.

Moving deeper into the discussion, Rogan and Tucker examined various ancient narratives, including stories of global floods, questioning whether archaeological finds lend credibility to such tales. Logan suggested that these stories could be rooted in reality, albeit distorted over time. “It might not be entirely accurate… but it’s likely a reflection of actual events,” he stated.

Logan, known for hosting one of the most followed podcasts globally, mentioned that he once identified as Catholic but no longer subscribes to any religious doctrines. However, he expressed growing interest in spirituality, which he has touched upon during his show.

In his characteristic open style, he said, “I find the idea of Jesus quite remarkable. If He were to visit me, I think I’d be completely taken aback.” His conversations with various guests, including Mel Gibson and Christian apologist Wesley Huff, have frequently wandered into religious territory, showcasing his evolving views on faith and existence.

Logan’s reflections on spirituality and belief systems continue to resonate, blending personal insights with broader existential ponderings, leaving room for interpretation and contemplation.
