This launch led to a 549% increase in active Avalanche wallet addresses and included the largest NFT mint on the network, with over 1.7 million free scrolling NFTs.

Nyan Heroes is Complete: The Solana-based hero shooter Nyan Heroes has shut down due to an inability to secure further funding. Max Fu, CEO of 9 Lives, mentioned that negotiations concerning the acquisition are still in progress, although results may take time. Pixelmon Adopts Avax: The Pokémon-inspired franchise Pixelmon is set to launch its mobile RPG Warden’s Rise on Avalanche in 2025. While its main assets will remain on Ethereum, existing “Monster Tycon” gameplay will stay on the immutable ZKEVM, making future projects exclusive to Avalanche.
CEO Giulio Xiloyannis pointed to Avalanche’s potential to attract millions of players and the possibility of dedicated Pixelmon subnets as key reasons for this shift. This decision marks a significant transformation for Pixelmon, which has evolved from a much-maligned NFT project into a multi-game franchise focused on a mobile-first strategy.
