Donald Trump’s Job Approval Rises to 55%

Approval Ratings for Trump Show Significant Increase

Recent polls by InsiderAdvantage indicate a notable rise in President Donald Trump’s approval rating, now at 55%. Contrarily, 44% disapprove, while just 1% are still undecided.

Matt Towery, a pollster at InsiderAdvantage, stated that these findings are pretty expected. He noted that other pollsters, who accurately gauged opinion during the election cycles involving Trump, reflect that his approval has consistently surpassed 50%.

In fact, the current approval ratings from Harvard Harris stand at 47%, while Rasmussen shows 49% approval. Morning consultations even estimate his standing at 48%.

Previously, an InsiderAdvantage survey conducted in April revealed Trump’s approval at 46% with a steady disapproval rate of 44%.

Earlier in March, Trump’s approval ratings were reported at about 50%, with disapproval at 45%.

So, in this particular poll, it seems Trump is indeed moving in a more favorable direction. But is this the complete picture?

As per RealClearPolitics, Trump currently has a job approval rating of 47.1%, with 49.1% disapproving, putting him just slightly underwater. This marks a significant improvement from three weeks ago when he was nearly 7 points underwater, with approval ratings of 45.3% against 52.4% disapproval.

The surge in Trump’s job approval can likely be linked to several key factors. His recent trip to the Middle East was successful, alongside significant trade deals and positive economic indicators that have challenged the media’s previous narratives. Additionally, there have been movements towards a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, which also helps shape public perception.

Many see an unusually patriotic president who prioritizes action, focusing on American interests, striving for global peace, and addressing issues that resonate with the public, like illegal immigration and law and order.

Moreover, recent reporting has shifted, now acknowledging former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. This daily comparison between Biden and Trump likely offers voters a more favorable view of Trump as a healthy and engaged leader.

InsiderAdvantage conducted this survey with 1,000 voters between May 17 and 19.
