Four Children Killed in School Bus Attack in Pakistan
Tragedy struck in Pakistan’s Balochistan province when four children lost their lives in an explosion that targeted an army school bus. The incident occurred in the Khuzdar district, raising concerns about security in the region.
According to Yasir Iqbal, the district manager, the bus was en route to the Army Cantonment school at the time of the explosion. He noted that around 40 students were on board, and some sustained injuries due to the blast.
Balochistan, while being the largest province in Pakistan by area, has the smallest population, with about 15 million residents. The region, known for its significant mining activities, has faced ongoing unrest and violence over the years, complicating the lives of its inhabitants.
This incident highlights the worsening security situation, which has been a persistent issue for years.
