Trump Claims Biden Officials Committed Serious Treason by Opening the Border

Trump Accuses Biden Officials of Treason Over Immigration Policies

Donald Trump has alleged that certain officials in the Biden administration are engaged in “treason at the highest level,” attributing the arrival of approximately 8 million immigrants to the U.S. over the past four years to Joe Biden’s policies.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump called out the loose enforcement of immigration laws, blaming the former president for encouraging a significant influx of migrants at the southern border.

He pointed out that individuals like former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas could potentially face legal repercussions for their roles.

Trump specifically stated, “Joe Biden wasn’t for open borders. He never spoke about open borders where criminals of all kinds could freely flow into our country.” He continued by expressing his belief that Biden’s approach has severely harmed the nation, costing billions and allowing criminals to re-enter the U.S.

“It was people who knew he was not fit for the presidency who took control. They stole the U.S. presidency and put us in great danger. This is the highest level of treason! They acted to destroy our country,” he wrote, adding that something must be done about those responsible for this situation.

Vice President JD Vance echoed similar sentiments during an interview with the New York Times Podcast, stating, “It’s not easy for me to defend Joe Biden.”

During Mayorkas’s time in office, illegal immigration surged as millions of migrants were reportedly welcomed at the southern border, with some entering deeper into the U.S. under directives from the Department of Homeland Security.

Several Americans lost their lives due to incidents involving migrants who were released into the U.S. under Mayorkas’s leadership. Examples include victims like Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and others.

A parole initiative overseen by Mayorkas is believed to have allowed about 1 million immigrants without U.S. ties to enter, enabling them to schedule border crossings and fly to various American cities.

Mayorkas has consistently declined to provide Congress with complete details regarding immigrants released into communities under his direction.

Recently, reports have emerged, revealing that individuals on terrorist watch lists were paroled during Mayorkas’s tenure and subsequently received benefits such as Medicaid.
