Peter Doocy shares years of questioning Biden’s mental fitness

Questions Arise About Biden’s Cognitive Health

Fox News correspondent Peter Doucy has been vocal about his observations regarding former President Joe Biden. Despite Biden still being in office, there are ongoing suspicions about whether his mental state is being concealed from the public.

Doucy, who has spent six years covering Biden, posted several videos on social media, probing the White House on concerns over the president’s cognitive decline. He expressed his frustrations about the lack of questions regarding Biden’s mental fitness and wondered why the media wasn’t more attentive to these issues.

The Washington Post has called on Congress to ensure that there isn’t another cover-up regarding the president’s health following recent revelations about Biden.

In one video, Doucy posed a question about a report concerning special advisor Robert Herr. He noted that Biden wasn’t accused of mishandling sensitive Obama-era documents because he was described as “an elderly man with well-meaning older memories.”

Biden responded assertively, claiming, “I’m well-meaning, I’m an older man and I know what the hell I’m doing.” He added that he has effectively navigated recovery for the country, implying that he doesn’t require any recommendations.

When Doucy pressed on how well Biden believes he remembers things and whether he feels capable of continuing as president, Biden quipped, “My memory is so bad, I’ll let you talk.”

There has been criticism directed at media outlets for their hesitance to question Biden about his health. The subject has resurfaced, particularly after the release of a book by CNN anchor Jake Tapper. Titled “Original Sin,” it claims Biden’s team has concealed his cognitive decline for years, and its release coincided with news that Biden was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.

During one press briefing, Doucy inquired about Biden’s fundraising speech related to Charlottesville, noting a discrepancy in Biden’s recollection of events. When asked about this, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded cautiously, reiterating that it was a campaign event.

In another instance, Jean-Pierre attempted to dismiss speculation surrounding Biden’s mental state. When questioned about Biden’s previous claims of being “healthy,” she attributed his remarks to humor and spontaneity.

Doucy also raised concerns about a gaffe in which Biden appeared to confuse historical figures, citing France’s former president, Emmanuel Macron, who passed away in 1996. He asked how Biden could reassure voters concerned about his health when he seemed to misunderstand basic facts.

Jean-Pierre sidestepped this, stating, “I’m not going down that rabbit hole with you.” Doucy further pressed on whether Biden had undergone testing for conditions like Parkinson’s disease following a poor debate performance against Donald Trump. Jean-Pierre maintained that they had been transparent and shared medical results, likening it to practices of previous presidents.

Another question arose about the perception of Biden being treated “like a baby” by his staff. Jean-Pierre dismissed this as a “ridiculous claim,” emphasizing that the president is treated as the commander-in-chief.
