Ryan Seacrest falls on Wheel of Fortune, receives response from Vanna White

Ryan Seacrest Takes a Tumble on “Wheel of Fortune”

Ryan Seacrest, the well-known host of “Wheel of Fortune,” experienced a slip-up during a recent episode, something he’s not quite accustomed to. On May 19, while wrapping up a “Margaritaville”-themed segment, he tripped over his own legs and ended up doing a somersault as he reached for a parrot-shaped pool float.

As the incident unfolded, co-host Vanna White was quick to respond. “After that, I need to take a breather,” Seacrest quipped, to which White humorously asked, “Why do you seem to have done this before?” He joked back, saying he had never heard of the term before.

One viewer commented on social media, “Ryan Seacrest is my spiritual animal,” reflecting the playful nature of the moment. It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t the first time a TV host has faced a mishap on stage—just last month, Seacrest made headlines for another significant fall during a different show.

In that particular episode, he shared his enthusiasm for the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival, an amusing UK event where participants chase a cheese wheel down a hill. Ironically, during his demonstration of this, he took a spill, landing face-first on stage.

In a humorous exchange, as Seacrest fell, White worriedly asked if he was alright, confirming moments later, “He’s fine!” After getting back to his feet, Seacrest picked up the cheese and playfully waved goodbye to the audience.

Interestingly, this was not an isolated incident. Earlier in a March episode, he found himself in a headlock from a former professional wrestler, which made for another viral moment.

In that playful instance, Page had Seacrest in a strong hold, which Seacrest initially took in stride, though it ended with him tapping out and being brought to the ground. Quite the adventurous streak for the game show host!
