Zoey Stark responds to knee injury experienced during her match.

WWE Star Zoe Stark Suffers Knee Injury

WWE wrestler Zoe Stark spoke out on Wednesday after sustaining a serious knee injury that prevented her from participating in the qualifying match for the “Money in the Bank” event set for “Monday Night Raw.”

The incident occurred when Stark attempted a dropkick on Kairi Sane but ended up missing and injuring her knee. Medical personnel quickly entered the ring to assist her, and she was subsequently taken backstage.

In her recent post on social media, Stark expressed gratitude to her fans and fellow wrestlers for their support, saying, “The amazing love and support means more than you know! The pain is overwhelming, and I realize I won’t be able to compete for a while. I truly love what I do.” It’s genuine—she’s really invested in her career.

As the match progressed, Sane and Rhea Ripley were left to compete head-to-head, with Ripley ultimately winning and advancing to the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in California next month.

Sane and Ripley have both shared their feelings regarding Stark’s situation, highlighting the risks involved in wrestling. Ripley noted, “Wrestling can be very real and dangerous. Anything can happen, and I wish @zoeystarkwwe a speedy recovery!” Meanwhile, Sane added, “I really hope she heals quickly. Wishing for a smooth recovery.”

Stark made her debut on the main roster in 2023 after a successful run in NXT. She quickly made an impact, notably teaming up with WWE legend Trish Stratus in a feud against Becky Lynch. Following the conclusion of that rivalry, she formed a faction with Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville, but they later parted ways with the company.

Previously, Stark was recognized as one of the top female wrestlers, landing the 86th spot on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s 2021 list. She also won the Tag Team Championship alongside IYO Sky during her time in NXT.
