Brett Favre seems to think that Netflix should be on his side, given his backing from President Donald Trump.
The streaming platform recently launched a documentary titled “Untold: The Fall of Favre,” which delves into the Favre scandal involving alleged inappropriate messages to women during his time with the New York Jets, as well as his possible connection to the Mississippi state welfare scandal.
After the documentary’s release, Favre shared two posts criticizing Netflix. One of them, from the Hodge twins, stated, “Netflix is chasing @Brettfavre for being an outspoken Trump supporter. We’re standing with Brett Favre.” Another post questioned whether accusations against Favre arise whenever he vocalizes his support for Trump, suggesting that it’s all part of a larger media attack against him due to his political stance.
Favre raised eyebrows at a Trump rally in October, just ahead of the election, expressing strong disapproval of voting for Kamala Harris. He indicated that comparing the two political figures shows how much worse things could get with Harris in office.
During his speech, he remarked, “We’ve had President Trump; we can see what Kamala has done. The definition of madness is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. We shouldn’t let Kamala stay in power for four more years.” He further emphasized, “America is a great country, but under her leadership, it feels broken. Trump can fix it.”
Favre has consistently supported Trump, claiming he felt like he was in a “better place” during Trump’s presidency, citing reasons like freedom of speech, gun rights, and support for law enforcement in the wake of civil unrest following George Floyd’s death.
