Prisoner Requests Help from Trump in Escape Video
A man identified as Antoine Massey, one of ten prisoners who escaped from a New Orleans jail, recently shared a video while on the run, appealing to former President Trump for assistance.
The video, which was first posted on Instagram on Sunday, showed Massey, who is 32 years old and has charges against him for kidnapping and rape, asking for help. His accusations include being wrongfully imprisoned. “They say I broke out. I didn’t break out. I was let go,” he stated earnestly.
In the video, Massey argues that he left prison due to the threat of life sentences for crimes he insists he did not commit. He claims he was wrongly charged with domestic abuse involving strangulation and is also wanted for additional serious allegations.
Massey, covered in tattoos, implores Trump to investigate what he describes as pervasive corruption in Louisiana’s justice system: “There’s all sorts of things happening and they’re hiding them… This is something you need to go under federal investigations,” he insists.
He calls out for help from notable figures: “I help, help… I’m saying people who’ve gone through a system that knows it’s corrupt. Lil Wayne, Donald Trump, I’m asking for help. Do you know what I’m saying?”
Originally posted on Instagram, the video was deleted shortly after. However, it was re-shared by another account the following day.
Investigations into the video are underway, with confirmation from law enforcement sources about looking into the activities of the escapees.
Massey was incarcerated in March on numerous domestic abuse charges, including theft and strangulation, and is also being sought by authorities in St. Tammany Parish on similar serious allegations.
This escape marks Massey’s fifth instance of fleeing custody, reportedly including two previous removals of ankle monitors. So far, eight of the escapees have been recaptured, with only one other remaining at large—Derrick Groves, a convicted double murderer who has been detained since last October.
