Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a quick trip to Disneyland with their children.
In a video posted on Markle’s Instagram on Friday, the family of four was seen at Disney California, with Archie, who is six, and four-year-old Lili, making heart shapes with their hands.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed introducing their kids to Queen Elsa, shared a small birthday cake shaped like a mermaid, and splurged on stuffed Mickey and Minnie toys.
They were spotted having fun on the popular Star Wars attraction, and both children appeared side by side on the iconic King Arthur Carousel. Meghan and Harry got into the spirit of things by wearing matching Mickey ears with their kids.
Markle captioned the video, “Thank you to @disneyland for giving my family two days of pure joy!”
A family outing to Disneyland seemed to coincide with Lilibet’s fourth birthday, which was celebrated earlier this week.
This getaway occurred amid some criticism on social media regarding a video featuring Markle and Harry dancing in the delivery room just before Lili’s birth in 2021.
In that clip, Markle, dressed in a black delivery gown, danced to a viral song while Harry could be seen in a green hoodie and jeans, clearly excited about their approaching parenthood.
Markle mentioned that the family trip was planned around their daughter’s birthday. However, it stirred some negative reactions online, with users labeling the dance as “cringe” and making light comments about their attempts at being relatable.
“Everything they do to appear ‘friendly’ feels out of touch,” one user commented.
On the other hand, Markle also shared some touching moments, including black-and-white photos with Lili. She reflected on their bond, saying, “Today, four years ago, she came into our lives, and every day is brighter and better for it.”
In another heartfelt moment, she posted a photo of Prince Harry with their daughter, captioning it, “The sweetest bonds unfold to see, my little daddy’s girl and my favorite adventurer.”
