It’s interesting how quickly someone’s reputation can shift based on a single encounter.
Recently, Blake Lively faced backlash over her behavior while shopping in a New York City store, which some fans described as “terrifying” towards the staff.
A fan named Landon shared her experience on TikTok, where she recounted her visit to Stony Clover Lane while Lively was also shopping.
“Honestly, it was a pretty horrifying experience. I just don’t get how she has fans,” Landon remarked, addressing over 197,000 followers.
According to her account, the atmosphere turned awkward. “I just went to look around. I didn’t even notice Lively at first. But her attitude was really rude when it came to the store employees,” she said.
Landon recalled Lively demanding specific items that couldn’t be touched by other customers, inquiring about a private bathroom, which struck her as particularly off-putting.
Lively, who is 37, apparently ignored everyone, even her own children, while focused on selecting a patch for a customized bag. Landon expressed her disbelief at Lively’s behavior, saying, “You’re treating hard-working people like this? Really?”
As they left the store, Landon felt a shift in the environment. “We were obviously being watched. It’s a public store, so there’s no sign saying we couldn’t be there,” she said, recalling how a security guard positioned himself at the door as they exited.
Later, Landon directed her frustrations towards those who still support Lively, suggesting, “If you are still a fan, well, that belief might change after seeing her in public.”
After Landon’s post, Lively gave a glimpse of her day on Instagram, showcasing a pink pouch covered in sparkling patches, possibly featuring initials representing her husband, Ryan Reynolds. She captioned her video, saying, “@stoneyclover is my heaven. I’m just someone in love with creating custom, fun things.” It seemed more like a nostalgic nod than a promotional message.
While Lively’s representatives haven’t commented on Landon’s story yet, the drama surrounding Lively continues to brew, especially given her ongoing legal issues with Justin Baldoni. The trial for that case is set for March 2026, following Lively’s allegations of harassment against Baldoni during the filming of “It Ends With Us.” Baldoni has denied these claims and launched his own lawsuit against Lively and her associates.
