Meghan Markle's friend Christopher Bouzy, who has criticized the royal family before, condemns the social media 'harassment campaign' directed at the duchess.

Friends of Meghan Markle have pushed back against the persistent negative narrative surrounding her, claiming she has faced “silly lies” for years.

Christopher Bouzy, a long-time supporter of the Sussexes, pointed out that the former “Suits” star, 43, is constantly subjected to “destroying” trolling on social media.

Bouzy, who runs the social media analytics firm Bot Sentinel, shared that their research uncovered a specific group of social media accounts responsible for orchestrating attacks against the Duchess.

“If it weren’t so destructive, it would be easy to laugh at such absurdity,” he mentioned in a discussion.

“For many years now, these ridiculous lies have turned into a full-scale harassment campaign targeting Meghan and her family.”

Bouzy appeared in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary, “Harry & Meghan,” where he talked about previous findings concerning harassment campaigns directed at them.

“We can’t overlook the real-world effects of this ongoing conspiracy harassment,” he stated.

Recently, the Duchess faced ridicule after posting a unique video of her and Prince Harry dancing in the hospital while waiting for their daughter Lilibet to be born in 2021.

The video, which celebrated Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 4, featured Meghan’s dance to “Drop It Low.”

“Imagine that some of the most joyful and vulnerable moments of your life have been twisted into ammunition for hate,” Bouzy continued.

“Every maternity dress and baby video becomes ‘evidence’ for strangers bent on proving your pregnancy is fake. It’s unsettling and cruel.”

Social media analysts have mentioned “suicidal ideation” that Markle has confronted, highlighting a correlation between high levels of abuse and her mental well-being.

“Beyond Meghan and Harry’s personal sacrifices, we need to consider the broader societal damage. When conspiracy theories thrive, they undermine our understanding of reality and decency,” he remarked.

In her 2020 “Teenage Therapy” podcast, Markle candidly spoke about the challenges of social media abuse against her, noting, “It’s hardly easy.”

She recounted that during her maternity leave in 2019, she was labeled as “the most trolled person in the world.”

“Even during those eight months when I was caring for my baby, navigating the negative commentary was incredibly difficult.”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re 15 or 25; if people are spreading false information about you, it’s damaging to your mental and emotional health.”

Bouzy’s somewhat contradictory remarks might draw attention from those who recall his previous criticisms of senior royals, including Kate Middleton and Prince William.

He once commented on William’s looks, comparing him to a “bald muppet.”

In October 2021, he remarked that William and Kate resembled “Harry’s aunt and uncle.”

On yet another occasion, he claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales were aging rapidly, expressing confusion as to why, given their access to extensive care.

Last year, Bouzy controversially alleged that the royal family had deceived the public regarding Princess Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, likening their announcement to propaganda from North Korea.
