Long Island Teen Charged with Rape of Two Boys

An 18-year-old from Long Island, identified as Bradley Sioppa, is facing serious charges after allegedly raping two 11-year-old boys he met on Snapchat.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office reports that Sioppa, using the username “Paxonhotsg5,” initiated a conversation in April with an 11-year-old boy in the Smithtown area.

The boys believed Sioppa was closer to their age and didn’t hesitate to join the chat. Eventually, they noticed he was older when he started showing up in person at local hangouts, including Robert A. Brady Park. His presence raised eyebrows as he was indeed much older than initially thought.

According to authorities, Sioppa engaged the boys during outings by driving them around, buying snacks, and playing pranks.

However, during these interactions, he reportedly sexually assaulted one boy in a bathroom at Brady Park while the other boy was allegedly assaulted at a separate location in Smithtown.

In both instances, Sioppa supposedly dismissed the abuse by framing it as a harmless dare or mischief, presenting it as though it were a game, sources claim.

The situation came to light in May 2025 when the mother of one of the boys found messages between Sioppa and her son. After questioning her child, he revealed details of the alleged abuses.

Following this, police initiated an investigation that led to Sioppa’s arrest in Bayshore on May 21.

On Tuesday, Sioppa was charged with first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. Supreme Court Judge Karen M. Wiltis set bail at $450,000 cash, $900,000 in bonds, or $4.5 million in partially secured bonds.

He is due back in court on July 8. If convicted of the most serious charge, he could face up to 25 years in prison.

District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney emphasized the seriousness of the accusations, stating, “The defendant is accused of committing horrific conduct against two innocent children. Protecting our most vulnerable, especially children, is my top priority.” He affirmed a strong commitment to pursuing justice in this case.

Investigators are also looking into whether there might be additional victims. Officials are urging anyone whose child may have interacted with Sioppa on Snapchat to reach out to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office or the Special Victims section of the Suffolk County Police Department.
