JJ Spaun’s Father’s Day Victory

This Father’s Day, JJ Spaun experienced a remarkable moment as he celebrated his first major title by winning the 125th US Open at Oakmont Country Club.

With a two-stroke win, he advanced thanks to a birdie on the 17th hole and capped off the victory with an impressive 64½-foot putt at the 18th.

The atmosphere was electric. Following his triumphant putt, he shared a heartfelt embrace with his caddy while the camera captured the joyous reactions of his wife, Melody, and their two daughters, Emerson Lili and Violet Windsor, who cheered from the stands.

As Spaun continued to celebrate, he reunited with his family—picking up his eldest daughter, kissing his wife, and enjoying the moment with Violet, all while still processing the excitement of his win.

Later, Spaun was seen signing his scorecard before once again embracing his daughters, and photos circulated showing him sharing the US Open trophy with them, sparking their curiosity.

In a lighthearted moment, Spaun shared how one of his daughters had a rough night due to a stomach bug, leading to an unexpected early morning trip to CVS, all while reflecting on how special it was to win on Father’s Day.

“It was very moving to have my family there,” Spaun mentioned, recalling how his daughter was very young during his previous win. “It’s incredible to have all of them here with me today.” He emphasized his daughter’s curious nature about his golf games, noting her excitement about whether he would bring home a victory.
