Caitlyn Jenner Leaves Israel Amid Missile Attacks from Iran

Caitlyn Jenner has recently left Israel after finding herself in a bomb shelter during ongoing missile strikes believed to be driven by tensions with Iran.

The 75-year-old Olympic gold medalist arrived in Tel Aviv last Thursday and was honored as a guest at the Pride Parade on Friday. However, the event faced cancellation due to airstrikes, as Jenner and others took cover, sipping wine while missiles detonated nearby.

“I’m grateful to stand in solidarity with Israel today,” she posted on Friday, alongside images depicting missile activity in Israeli cities. “Please pray for us. We’re going to prevail.”

On Saturday, Jenner expressed her appreciation for the people of Israel, thanking them for their friendship and support during her visit. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended the proactive measures taken against Iran’s nuclear officials and infrastructure.

Jenner highlighted her belief in strong leadership, mentioning both Netanyahu and former President Donald Trump in her remarks. “We won’t allow this reckless violence to persist,” she wrote, adding, “Goodbye terrorists. We will free the citizens of Iran.”

Amid the escalating conflict, Jenner’s scheduled flight from Israel was ultimately canceled, prompting her to cross into neighboring Jordan. Reports indicate she plans to return to Los Angeles from there.

The ongoing missile assaults forced the cancellation of what was hailed as the largest Pride Parade in the Middle East.

During her trip, Jenner had visited sites impacted by the terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023, and met with families of survivors and hostages. Amid the air raid, Jenner took shelter, where influencer Regev Garr shared an image of Jenner smiling with a glass of red wine.

“I’m enjoying wine with Caitlyn—what are you doing during the alert?” Garr remarked in a post.

Earlier, Garr humorously mentioned to Jenner that Israel felt “safer than Los Angeles,” a nod to the violence her hometown has experienced lately.

As of now, Iranian airstrikes have led to the death of at least 24 Israelis, including two children, since the attacks ramped up on Friday.
