U.S. Ambassador Huckabee Delivers Supportive Message to Trump

Mike Huckabee, the Israeli ambassador to the U.S., recently sent an encouraging text message to President Donald Trump amidst rising tensions between Israel and Iran.

On Tuesday, Trump shared a post from his social media platform, where Huckabee, notable for being the first evangelical Christian to hold the ambassador position, urged the president to seek divine guidance in his decision-making.

“A president who will not spare you in Butler, Pennsylvania, may God make you the most consequential president of the century—possibly ever. continued:

You have numerous voices speaking to you, but there’s only one that really matters. His voice. I’m here as a servant in your land and I’m available to you, though I don’t want to intrude too often; I trust your judgment. The great leaders before you, none have faced a position like yours. Not since Truman in 1945. I’m not here to sway you, just to support you. I believe you will hear from above, and that voice is more crucial than mine or anyone else’s. You appointed me to represent you in Israel, with our flag flying over the embassy. My duty is to see this through. I won’t abandon this role. Our flag will not fall. You didn’t seek this moment; I sought it for you! It’s my honor to support you! Mike Huckabee.

In December, Huckabee told the Israeli people, “You will never be alone again in your struggle for freedom, and to protect the nation, land, and heritage God has given you.”

On Tuesday, Huckabee’s latest message surfaced as Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the only negotiations with Iran reside between “our missiles and their targets,” as reported by Breitbart News. He also noted the threat of attacks on various targets, assuring that authorities would take measures to protect Israeli citizens.

Trump, who has faced criticism for his strong support of Israel in light of tensions with Iran, argued that peace cannot be achieved if Iran possesses nuclear capabilities, according to the same report.

While Trump has yet to engage directly in the conflict, it’s suggested that the U.S. is supplying weapons to Israel and contemplating involvement in attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to Trump as an “extraordinary leader,” as reported by Breitbart News.
