Khamenei posted on X, hinting at a battle with the mention of “Ali returns to #Khaybar with his Zulfiqar.” This refers to Ali, the revered first Imam in Islam, adding a layer of historical weight to his words.
This unsettling message from Khamenei followed warnings from Iranian state media about lasting memories of conflict and unexpected developments.
In a sign of escalating tensions, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) reported multiple air raid sirens sounding in northern Israel, attributed to “hostile aircraft” the following morning.
Sirens were triggered in the Golan Heights, and the IDF confirmed that three Iranian drones were shot down.
Iran also launched missile barrages towards Israel, with an explosion resonating through Tel Aviv.
A squadron of fifty Israeli fighter jets targeted Iran’s production sites, dropping missiles on various weapon manufacturing facilities around the capital. The IDF claimed these strikes would significantly diminish Iran’s capacity to threaten Israel and the surrounding region.

Trump, without providing specific details, noted that a significant portion of Iran’s air defense systems had been neutralized. He claimed, “We now have complete control over Iran’s skies,” adding that despite Iran’s robust defenses, they were no match for American-made technology.
He described the Iranian leader’s location as known and vulnerable, indicating a possible future operation.
The Israeli attacks have reportedly resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian military officials and key nuclear scientists.
Iran has suffered considerable losses in its weapons arsenal due to strikes on missile silos and manufacturing sites, as analyzed by experts.
